Rob is an award-winning actor, director, educator and playwright. He is an Associate Professor at Michigan State University where he serves as the head of acting and directing for both the undergraduate and graduate programs in the Department of Theatre.
His publications include “Collaboration in Theatre: A Practical Guide for Designers and Directors “with colleague Kirk Domer (Palgrave Macmillan/Hardcover and paperback) and Arts or Crafts (Norman Maine Publishing/Big Dog Publishing.) He worked as the National Outreach Education Coordinator for Actors’ Equity Association and has appeared extensively throughout the US as actor and director. Rob served on the faculty of Manhattan Marymount College, the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, SUNY/Stony Brook and Stephens College where he received the "Distinguished Teaching Award." He was awarded the Mid-Michigan Alumni Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching from MSU.
